August 29, 2026 was a truly memorable night in San Bruno—and we are still smiling!
We were thrilled to welcome a sold-out crowd who filled St. Robert’s Social Hall with energy, laughter and generosity. The evening began with the wonderful music of the Oakland Jazz Funk Project (formerly Phat Luv), who have entertained us for four years and always help get the party started!
There was lots of excitement around our Silent Auction, with bidding getting serious as the evening went on. Raffle tickets were flying, too, thanks to the many generous people and businesses who donated such wonderful prizes.
And we were especially proud to showcase our Kenyan crafts, including many beautiful new pieces. Every purchase helps support the education of children we are helping in Narok, Kenya.
But what makes Harambee truly special is the people. Our volunteers gave their time, energy and patience to make the evening happen. The St. Robert’s Men’s Group prepared a wonderful dinner, the Scouts helped with setup and cleanup, our young servers worked diligently, our donors contributed generously, and our guests came ready to celebrate and support the children.
We truly could not do this without all of you. Thank you for believing in these children, supporting their education, and helping us continue this journey.
