Harambee number 5 is in the books!! It was an amazing night. First of all, we had more folks attend than ever before. Folks told us the food was good, the band was great (as always), shopping for Kenyan crafts was brisk and bidding on silent auction items was challenging. Raffle tickets … more chances for fun!
Most of all, however – one could feel the sense of community as they entered the door. This is a scrappy group of Supporters who in 2021 turned out to help the Kenyan children, and in turn have told their friends. Who’ve told their friends! We’ve grown to this!!!
Sean and I are humbled by the love and support. The result of the evening is we know we have enough to get all the children in the home through high school for at least another year!
